Almanaque

Almanaque traditionally refers to an annual publication that records significant astronomical events, such as solstices and lunar phases. In 1981, acclaimed Brazilian composer and singer Chico Buarque released an album under this title. This cover pays homage to the album’s music and artistry by combining stars and a checkerboard motif, both suggestive of calendars and astrological cycles, woven together through an earthy, retro–futuristic texture
